You still write blog posts, but do you read posts from others?

I’ve created this blog as my least favorite hobby because I have a tendency to undervalue the things that I do (even though I do them very well).

I tend to self-sabotage and discredit my quality. That’s why I decided to create this blog that I decided to fill with the least favorite of my interests and not care that much. You have seen here and there how my other interests have peaked in some of my posts and some of them were actually some of my most viewed posts.

I have many interests and read the blogs that I follow. Unfortunately, I have noticed that others don’t do the same. They just post and that’s it. There is no more Blog-Community as it used to be where people supported each other and reposted some of those blogs and actually were plugging some other blogs.

I see less and less people writing and even less are communicating with each other.

I will continue to post here although I am planning some other things too. I am curious to know if anyone else has experienced this as well.

Wishing you a wonderful week

Some last century laws about women in USA and activism

Standard

Hi my Readers 🙂

Another serious subject (surprise, surprise). But this one is so serious that you can end up in jail by doing it. That’s right. And activists that are fighting it, are bashed by no other that women.

It is about the new abortion law in Georgia. Granted, I am not as familiar with this subject but popped up in my feed. The reason I am writing this is much more than this. It is about activism and being involved in your community!

I was particularly interested in a phenomenon that humans – the creatures of habit are always emphasizing: that a person can NOT change it’s niche. I can’t believe my eyes when I am reading the comments about this. People are belittling another person because she was an actress and that is the reason she should stay away from other subjects – like activism.

The example I am talking about is Alyssa Milano and her recent actions.

As a person, she is doing as much as she can to contribute to the community. Being a public person is much more admiring, because, instead of taking the sidelines like most of her other colleagues, she is actively promoting just that – activism.

I think that being activist and doing that as public person choosing to do more than just limit yourself to only one thing is admiring. Such a good example for other people and women. There are more examples that actors and actresses can do so much for the community but decide not to bother. And as public person, the impact is much more bigger. Just look at Leonardo DiCaprio. He is an activist besides his acting career.

Yeah, sure, bash Alyssa Milano for speaking up about YOUR rights. And the „go back to acting“ part is so not conservative… just like your abortion law. But hey, gash forbid a woman is more that one thing!

You don’t need to agree with her on the subject, but stop belittling people for doing more!

Include yourself in the community. Make an impact. You are strong enough to make a change!

Someone can make your career. That same someone can also break it

Standard

Hey Readers 🙂

I am not a gossip blog, neither was interested in the drama part of youtube. But some things are just too big to be left alone.

As the tiltle states, someone can make your career. But if you take it for granted and feel entitled? That same one can also break it.

Tati Westbrook is very well known and loved person on YouTube. It is funny how we focus on the bad, when we can focus on the good and writing this, I wanted to only mention her and write few words. But instead, I’m making a difference and making nice people the center of attention. Also, It is funny how we can think of so many unkind words but when it comes to compliments – we all look past them. So the focus on this post is: she has really pleasant voice, she is kind, understanding, smart and maybe more but from what is translated, as viewer – that is the summation. She has her own company – Halo Beauty. She knows how to compose a sentence without using the beauty slang and annoy half of the population 😀 OK, that was my lame attempt of a dad joke, but if you go on her channel, you can witness better ones 😀 Moving on…

She has such an impact and it is respected that with only one video, was able to stir up so much and make people think of their decisions.

I feel sorry for James Chalres at this moment because he is still a teenager that can’t handle everything that he is served with. I watched a video of him how lost he was on the red carpet of the Met Gala and even though he is the villain now, the immaturity got the best of him. It’s somewhat similar to a post that I wrote about bullying. If you care to read that – just click here and it will take you to that post #KissAndMakeup anti-bullying campaign. Here is an excerpt:

It’s possible that the anger that a bully contents is not towards those people and they are not the source to the „bullys“ problem. That „bully“ is a person too and is pouring and focusing his or her anger towards the wrong person. Living with all this technology is easier to become angry and to focus that anger towards wrong people and things.

I am in no way justifying his behavior, but am stating the possibilities. If fact, just 2 days ago I wrote about his events – Line up for the $500 ticket; James Charles did an oopsie.

This teaches us something very important: no matter how big you are – kindness always prevails!

Until my next blabber…

Remember to do something good.

Have a nice weekend 🙂

Somehow I got blocked by a „famous“ beauty person

Somehow I got blocked by a „famous“ beauty person

Hi my Readers 🙂

Yesterday I was scrolling through my tweets and noticed something: from all the beauty persons that I follow, there was one’s posts that I haven’t seen for a while. I clicked on the profile and gave me message that that person blocked me.

From all the things in the world, there are few that I can tell for sure that I am – politically correct, fair and considerate. Especially when it is about some subject on the internet. And always advocate about being correct towards everyone.

I respect everyone. So imagine the shock when I see someone that doesn’t even know me – blocked me.

Then remembered that once posted a link from a magazine that featured this beauty person and tagged the person. I thought that this person hasn’t seen the post and that is why I tagged it because was being supportive of someone else’s work. And now I can assume that that is the reason that I got blocked. Why? I have no idea since the post only contained the link and smiley face.

I know that everyone is surrounded by rumors and drama but I tend to stay out of it since I don’t know this people in real life. But after this, I got confirmation that the thing that are said are not only rumors.

Why should you bother to block someone that don’t mean you harm? You seek to be equally and rightfully treated on the internet by everyone, but here you go and do the exact opposite of what you preach.

Just wonder what would’ve happen if I actually wrote critically (not insulting!, just something constructive) towards the work of this person, because, of course everyone accepts only good words, not constructive criticism. Of course everyone is right especially when they reach some number of followers.

Not going to revile the name of this person because knowing how shallow brain works, it could come out as a way of promoting my blog. And to that I would say: what blog? This one? That I wrote on so rare and I write because I really like this not like you – doing it just for the money?
But, luckily I’m about to avoid that.

I was just surprised by being blocked by someone that claims to be something that it is not. I am not affected in any other way. But this person surely lost someone that was supportive. I’m sure that this was done to someone else and I’m here to write that not everyone deserves our time.

Beauty and the „community“….

I am interested about your opinion on this subjects. Comments are always welcome 🙂

Have a good start of the week,
