Lack of posts

Hi my Reader 🙂

I haven’t been posting much lately and the reason is that my camera memory card collapsed and destroyed every picture from the past 5 months, including the trip to Italy. I already have some posts that are pre – prepared but when I tried to take pictures so I can include them in the posts, that’s when I realized that the memory card has gone bad. I know what you will think: why didn’t you transfer the pictures on your pc? Well, I did, and I also placed them on my USB, but then my antivirus program automatically formatted it, and with that – destroying every data on it. Perfect timing.

I want my posts to be complete, both with my opinion and pictures from the products so you, as reader, can have the whole idea of it. That is the reason why I’ve been „saving“ the posts that I already have pictures of, until I try to figure out if is possible to take out at least some of the pictures out and buy yet another memory card. This is my second camera (and it’s already a bit cracked from a travel accident when I was in Lithuania), second battery, second battery charger, second memory card due to the different accidents that interesting enough, I din’t do because I keep them very safe, but my friends were not careful as much as they should be, so I can only hope that this will be the last ones from the things from above that I need to replace due to accidents.

DIY test: tinted lip balm

I know that this topic is long old news but I decided to share my results anyway.

Because of a trend that was spreading around the internet, I make a DIY test only to get answer for my curiosity. That trend was DIY – homemade tinted lip balm.

Ingredients:

• Petroleum jelly
• Kool + aid (red, cant remember the flavor)

I mixed little bit of the petroleum jelly with a little bit of the kool aid. I did not measure it because on every recipe that I find, the measurements were different. So I „winged“ it 😀
The end result was textured, thick consistency, red, with very strong scent. I immediately saw why it looked like that. The kool aid needs watter to dissolve the granules. And if I first dissolve the kool aid with water, I will not be able to combine that mixture with the petroleum jelly (because of its consistency). I don’t have pictures so I can show you the results because I threw it away but now when I’m writing this post I wish that I took some pictures. But, you only need pictures when something works, right? 🙂

I tested in on the lips anyway.

Is it usable? No.

It was a big fail.  It came out very thick, with weird texture, was very rough on the lips and because of the strong cool aid flavor, it was hurting my lips. There is no way that I could make it work.

If you haven’t tried it yet, that was the right choice because it was not worth the time.

Wooden comb

Hi my Reader 🙂

I know that several people around me wanted to buy a wooden comb. My recommendation is to save your money, and thus the hair. That kind of sound of the hair breaking – I have not yet heard. I  bleached my hair and I thought It was terribly damaged because of that. Definitely was due to the combing it with wooden comb.

This is how the one in question.

Obviously, it’s actually wood – it is hard and not manageable. Because of the bristles (those wooden thick things that suppose to be bristles) that aren’t bending, it causes breakage to the hair and damaging it extremely.

I went back to using an ordinary comb and during and after the first combing and shampooing noticed a huge difference and I’m happy that I found out that the problem was the comb. I will never get those damaged fibers back, but I sure can prevent someone else to do the same as I did.

Happy New Year

Hi my Reader 🙂

We entered the New Year that has new name. Happy Ney Year! May all of your wishes become reality. As all of you know, it’s 2016. 😀

Where I live, we did not have snow for the New Year’s Eve. But I was in a club on the night between 2-dn and 3^rd of January and when I left the club – there were the snowflakes. So me and my friend decided to walk back home on the snow and listen to some good music. Since everyone else was deep in sleep 😀 dancing our way home was happening more than an actual walking 😀

The snow lasted for whole 3 hours and then the heavy rain melted it down so I’m presenting you a picture from the last years snowflakes and I’m hoping that I will build a Snowman soon 🙂

I’m hoping that you are having a good start of this year and spreading some positivity.
