Very peri bye to the Pantone color of 2022

Hi my readers

As we are entering the new year, I would like to wish you all well, good health and much happiness.

Before I say bye to the color of the year of 2022, I have to say that that was kind of one of my favourite colors. As you may even notice is one of the color in the symbol to my blog. I was especially happy to learn that Pantone decided to choose that color (and the shades around it) because I already had everythitn that includes that color…including my hair.

I will share some pictures from the color (and the shades around it) and let me tell ya, this is just a glimpse of everything lilac, purple, very peri that I have in my collection 🙂 You might catch a glimpse of the color of the year of 2023 as it is a color that really suits me and luckily I like it too 😀

Had a surprise visitor for the last few items so I decided to leave this photo anyway 🙂

Don’t worry, the shoes are indoor shoes that I use for workout, they are very clean, I made sure of it..trust me 😀

This color will surely stay, but we will be welcoming the new one with open arms, since, as I said (and you will see) is the colour that I wear so often.

Bought a cheap alternative to the tangle teaser

Long time no….read…or something like that. 😀

Recently I bought a chep alternative to the famous “Tangle Teaser”. Since I havent use the original one, I won’t make a comparison but only will write my opinion, so If you are still interested – keep on reading 🙂

I’m constantly trying out new things and hyped products so you can also read about how wooden comb works.

To give you a perspective, the botom half of my hair is carefully bleached and that same half is turquoise as you can see in this post. So it is not that damaged except for the ends.

When I saw this blush, it immediately reminded me of the original, except it had handle. The color played a huge role in my decision to buy it 😀 It was really cheap so even though I had enough hair things, I bought it.

First impression: dry hair

Upon the first strokes I’ve noticed that because it is made out of plastic, it makes a huge noise while I was brushing. After that, I’ve noticed that it was not catching my whole hair since the bristles are so short (it may be the way it works). I also noticed that it is not detangling my hair really well even though I star at the ends and continue upwards. In fact, very small section of my hair was tangled and this brush was not able to detangle it.

Since the first use – I was rarely using it. I’m currently on vacation and I took only this brush only so I can use more often and give my opinion.

I was not that impressed, but then I tried it on wet hair.

First impression: wet hair

I washed my hair and when is wet, I almost never brush it, but this time was an exception because I needed it to dry faster and also wanted to try the brush on wet hair. It turns out that it brushes wet hair really good. It might have something to do with the conditioner that I used, but still, I was interested. Many of the brushes I have really pull my hair when is wet, but not this one. It might be something to do with the short bristles.

Conclusion:

As you noticed, the brush works really good with wet hair. I don’t recommend brushing the hair while it’s wet, but if you have to, try a brush like this.

Have you tried the original “Tangle Teaser” and some cheap alternative? I’m genuinely curious to know if it works different.

I am making beauty related post – wow 😀

I am working around some products that I had high hopes for but ended up not working for me. Luckily, I investigate sooo much before purchasing so I don’t have much of them. 🙂

This time is not one of those times 😀

 

Aussie 3 minute miracle reconstructor

I remember a time on YouTube when everyone was talking about this Aussie products. I am now thinking that those were sponsored because there is no way everybody to be so contempt about this because it does nothing.

A while ago Aussie finally became available to me. It was expensive but knowing that everybody talked only good, I thought – it’s worth the money.

I have been using this products for almost a year – not constantly, but I am trying to use them up because I don’t want to be wasteful and every time I’m using them, I get reminded how they don’t do anything for my hair.

It does not smell that good, but I thought – ok, so it might be good for the hair so I’m not going to mind the smell too much.

Aussie repair miracle conditioner

This one I can see maybe something going on. It does not do too much for my hair but at least smells nice, which is a great improvement minding the 1 minute one 😀

Because my hair is now turquoise and if you want to see what I am using and an updated color, just click over the highlighted words, I am trying to use this conditioners up by adding some to my hair while the hair dye is sitting on my hair. So, at the same time, I get conditioning done as well as neutralizing the harsh chemicals that are in a hair dye.

I don’t want to be harsh, but this products really didn’t do much for my hair.

 

I still enjoy beauty and cosmetics but being what I am, I am going to include more posts about everything else. How we can improve not only the beauty from the outside, but the internal beauty as well.

Marion hair color – star color; updated hair color & REVIEW

I dyed my hair. In strange color.  And NEED HELP! Will purple work over this hair color and how will it turn out?

This packaging even matches my nails 😀 It wasn’t intentional. I painted my nails way before I purchased the hair color 😀 Anyway, back to the topic.

The hair color and the company: Marion is polish cosmetic company.

I took A LOT of pictures, so I can capture the real tones of my hair. Keep in mind that I did this at home and it is apparent that I missed a few strands and they look faded, but I’m not upset about it.

 

Did I like it and what to improve: I like the fact that I finally can purchase something that will not be pain to my wallet. An I’m also wearing it for over a year, so that counts for something.
How to use it: do not massage it until it foams (like it says on the packaging). Just apply it as you would a regular hair color over few days of unwashed and dry (not damp) hair.

When you head over to the OTHER POST on this hair color, you can see that I am very satisfied and I really like my hair color. Because I like more turquoise than regular blue, I leave some yellow while bleaching so I can get the right turquoise color.

I’m thinking of dying parts of it purple. I’m not sure if it will work because I don’t want it to pull red tones. Also, I don’t want it to turn dark gray. Does anyone has experience with this kind of colors?

Color 2 create – isana

As you may know, half of my hair is blue. And since I went to Germany for 3 months and my store was sold out of my Marion hair color in blue I was looking for something inexpensive to try and color my hair with. You’d think that Germany will have more options, but everything that I found was Got2be from Schwarzkopf (that was always sold out except for 2-3 colors), L’Oréal Paris Colorista, and this one – color2create from the Rossmann’s brand – Isana.

 

Since the first 2 were little more expensive which was not the reason for not buying, but I was not sure how will it turn out to my not-recently-bleached hair, so I decided to buy this one.

Looking back, If I cared that much, I would’ve got the Colorista one. I mean, the Sophie Hannah herself is on the packaging and she is kind of amazing at changing and experimenting with hair color. I think that I couldn’t decide between the different colors, and that’s why I didn’t buy one of them 😀  But I also knew that I would be able to properly do my hair when I go back (with bleaching and everything) so I left it alone at first.

Last year tried the color shampoo from Isana that did absolutely nothing to my hair so I wasn’t expecting much.

It actually turned really good. I mean, they did not have the color that I wanted but I was as shown on the packaging – light blue.

How to apply?

After the first try, I figured out the best way to apply it and to actually „take“. Instead of applying it on dampened hair, apply it in generous amount and leave it a little longer that it says on the instructions (doing this is your own responsibility). I think that I threw out the packaging and the instructions and to be frank, I don’t really remember what was written on the instructions so I can’t be sure.

Does it last? 

Well, this actually penetrates inside your hair and when you rinse it apter applying, it does not showing blue water. But after 2-3 washing, the color starts to disappear.

Does it damage the hair? 

It is not the hair color that is damaging the hair because it is actually a hair shampoo. It is the bleaching that it damages the hair.

The product itself: 

This product is has blue tint but does not cling on the skin (I ran out of gloves and tried applying it with bare hands but only on a small part and washed my hand immediately, so I’m not sure about longer use).
It smells amazing and it actually reminds me of that time 🙂

For the price, this is actually good color shampoo. If you really want to try something, it is ok product.

Mini cosmetics shopping

Catrice, Garnier, essence and more…

I am NOT a fan of the word „haul“ so for my shopping spree I used this „cosmetics shopping“ title because I couldn’t think of better one.

I ran out of stuff, needed stuff and needed to try some new stuff so I bought myself some stuff 😀

Of course I had to bust everything open but at least I saved some of the packaging just for photos for this blog 🙂

Lets start with the make up 🙂

Catrice mascara – Glam & Doll – Curl & Volume mascara

I needed mascara after I found out that my Miss Sporty is no longer carried in my country (smh) so in a search of a good one, I spent too much time searching for the next one, especially because I already had few that were not that great.
I know that it looks like it was carried a lot in my bag and that is because it was – in a shopping bag 🙂

Catrice eye brow stylist – brow pencil 

Again, my brow pencil is discontinued so in addition to 3 others I added this one to my collection that are not comparable to that one. I just searched for one that will match my ashy brows even a little bit.

essence dip eyeliner – waterproof 

This one I know it will work because I have the non waterproof version already used up.

Hair products 

All of the hair products are repurchases.

L’Oréal ELVITAL hair oil 

This is a really good one. leaves my hair shiny and healthy, especially after frying it up for the blue collor 🙂

Schwarzkopf Gliss – spray – on hair mask

This is a spray that I use for detangling. It is actually spray – on mask. I used to use the yellow one before they repackaged it and it was really good with repairing effect. Nothing really repaired my split ends but with that one I saw difference. Smelled amazing too! This one – not so great. It states that oils are added but it is clear that only water and some detangly ingredient is added. I should really change it up to something other. For now, it is ok for detangling.

Marion star color hair color in Jeans

I am really careful with my hair and with that, I am trying to be careful with my hair color too, since it is blue. So if I want my blue hair to be fresh – I keep this just in case I need touch up. But this product is really good and touch ups are not that frequent unlike other similar products that I used.

I searched for liquidy balm that will be with spf for the summer days, I did not find what I was looking for so decided to take that chance with that 20% off and try this one.

Balea lippen pflege, mit shimmer – effekt

Having to use another lip balm with balea that tasted sweet, I bought this one that I see myself using for cheek highlight too (not too ofte, it is still oil). And the other one was with sweet taste. This one – IT’S NOT! Bu hey, it is shiny 😀

Face products

Coton rounds 

Well, this one is just something I needed since I ran out from my aldi one. I used them once and since then my eyes were little red and hope that this one didn’t cause that. I simultaneously tried another lotion so I’m hoping it is the lotion and not the cotton. I will have to use them more to see the results.
I like how the white part is actually the lady’s hair 🙂

Theme color I like these days

Hi my Readers 🙂

I change colors that I enjoy once in a while. This past few months I changed so much but this post is going to me about my current colors 😀

This days I enjoy a few that are really going together: teal blue, blue, mint…you get the pattern 😀

So, of course I bought even more nail polishes to go with my theme and I am puling out every piece of clothes that has and goes with this color 😀

I always combine my nail color with the clothes and outfits.

Nails: keep in mind that in this collection of pictures from my nails, some of them are captured right when they were made or right before removing the nail polish so they look a bit (a lot) funky 🙂

With this cat…luckily I had the nails because I really like them but I forgot to take pictures of them.

In that style I made them so many times… What can I say, I like the ocean 😀

Argan oil hair conditioner (swiss o par arganöl haarkur)

We’ve all heard of how argan oil is good for the hair. Based on that, I wanted to try a conditioner. It was on sale so I got it and here it is my thoughts on it.

It says that it is for dry and shineless hair. Should have read the ingredients too but I was in a hurry.

This stayed in my bath next to the window so the packaging is a little bit washed out from the sun 😀

Ingredients list and claims:

 

As you can see, water is on the first place and on the very second place is alcohol. I don’t know about you but alcohol does not scream „hydration“. There are several types of alcohol in this product.

Amount

The consistency is veeery watery and when I try to use it, I end up applying way too much, but even with that – it is not doing much for my hair. It may be because it is silicone free but still, I used it almost all of it up and still didn’t see any difference regarding the dryness of my hair, as the stated claims.

Also, from argan oil conditioner, I expect more.

Scent: when I smelled it in store iI said to myself: well, If it does good to my hair, I will try to get over the scent. Turns out, It didn’t work out 😀 Definitely recommend smelling it in store if you want to buy it.

 

Will I repurchase: NO.

Because I am using it only on my lower half of my hair, I need it to be as repairing as it can since I am experimenting with that part of my hair so much. And even when my hair was healthy, did not noticed any difference.

More terrible hair pictures from Marion hair color – star color; dyed my hair in strange color; REVIEW

Remember the post that I made about Marion hair color? This post: Marion hair color – star color; dyed my hair in strange color; extensive REVIEW  Well it’s time I post the real result, not just a strand test.

All and all, if the selling lady didn’t gave me the wrong color I would’ve been very satisfied with my hair color. But, that is not the dye fault, it is my preference.

But later I got the right one and that is why I decided to post more pictures.

I bleached my hair but because I didn’t wanted to fry it off, I left it with some yellow tint (hense the teal green color instead of blue).  But it looked very nice.

If you are coming from THE OTHER POST about this hair color, you can see that I am very satisfied and I really like my hair color. After a while, because I like more turquoise than regular blue, I leave some yellow when bleaching so I can get the right turquoise color.

So here are some pictures that I took of it.

I can’t seem to find EVEN ONE good picture. I have cuts and pieces but that’s all.

Marion hair color; star color; dyed my hair in strange color; extensive REVIEW

I dyed my hair. In strange color.

This packaging even matches my nails 😀 It wasn’t intentional. I painted my nails way before I purchased the hair color 😀 Anyway, back to the topic.

It is not the first time and probably won’t be the last. This one is a big dial because I finally achieved (a little bit of) what I wanted to – my hair to be blue-teal -ish. At least part of it.

Finding color…well…hair colors: I wasn’t able to find hair color that will be in different colors (other that blond, brown, black or red)  for a long time. And even when I did, to be honest, I didn’t wanted to spend that much money on one little tube. So when this colors were actualized by the beauty-lover persons on the internet, I finally came in touch with less expensive colors (which, keep in mind, were still very expensive). Recently, a beauty-lover told me that there is new hair color. Of course I had to try it. And the biggest plus of all is that it was way less money.

Previous attempts to have blue hair: when I had very long hair I decided to bleach it. I did that and applied blue hair that I had from long time ago on few strands. I loved it. Mixed with the yellow undertone on my hair, it turned out teal. But I ran out of that color and continued wearing my hair as it is until I cut half of it off.

This attempt: keep in mind this few things before judging this hair color:

• I DON’T experiment on my whole hair, only the lower part
• my hair was previously dyed dark blond
• after that, instead of toning the orange tones I ended up dying it with very dark blue hair color with ammonia (I guess one dot in whole bunch of hydrogen peroxide was still too much). I rinsed it after 5 minutes when I saw what was turning into. I used vinegar and a shampoo that is not gentle with hair color.
• it was darker but at least the orange tones were toned down
• tried a strand test to see if I had to bleach it and how it will work (as show on the 1. picture).
• I decided to lighten it just a little and I put only few pinches of bleach that didn’t even dissolved so the hydrogen turned it a bit orange (picture 2.). Not sure how much because while the hair was wet I applied the color shampoo (picture 3, wet hair).

The process through pictures from the explanation above:

1. tried a strand test to see if I had to bleach it and how it will work (as stated, the color of my hair is not as copper as my camera shows it. The battery was really low for me to try and fix the tone so I just took few photos as it was. So, keep that in mind.)

The hair color and the company: Marion is polish cosmetic company. The „star color“ line is a new one.

 

I had used „dark blonde“ before to tone down a bleached hair color without damaging it too much.
I also used copper (have no idea what was the name) oonce and It turned out good.

Previous experience with this company: I used their color shampoo. They are ammonia-free and they are not damaging the hair (at least not as much as the regular hair colors). I used it on my grandmother (may she rest in peace) and it covered white hair very good. On her, I used dark blond (was turning out brown because she had white hair) and with time it faded into blond.

I had used „dark blonde“ before to tone down a bleached hair color without damaging it too much. 

I also used copper (have no idea what was the name) once and It turned out good. You can find it here.

The results: unlike the strand test (that turned out really good considering that my hair was dark) I followed the instructions when I colored my whole hair. On the strand test I only placed the color. When I applied it on the whole hair I massaged the hair until it foamed (according to the instructions). I think that If I only applied it without massaging it until it foamed, it would’ve been better.

Did I like it and what to improve: I like the fact that I finally can purchase something that will not be pain to my wallet. There is space fore improvement since I did this in a hurry and not entirely as I should’ve. Patience is key with this colors.
Also, the next time I will not massage it until it foams. I will only apply it as it is. From the strand test I’ve noticed that it works better that way.

The color: 163 – ocean blue or lazur

The packaging: I REALY LIKE the packaging on this hair color. I is divided in two packs and this comes in handy if you don’t need to use the whole hair color.
In each pack, there is a cap so if you don’t need to use the entire pack, you can just put the cap on it. I’m not sure if it will hold that much. It is hard to get the color out of the pack but just in case – store it upwards 🙂

I just researched it and noticed that there is a darker version of this hair color. It is called „jeans“. If the store I bought this one from had that, probably would’ve purchased that one.

I had to put this one with my hand. The hand is not there intentionally, it just floated there so I won’t move my body too much when I placed my hair nicely 😀
